So to be sure this is my list on the retrofit source to buy.
I already have the Depo Headlights

1. Bi-Xenon: Morimoto EVOX-R Projector
2. HD Relay: 9006
3. D2S: Morimoto XB35 Ballast
4. D2S: Morimoto XB35 Bulb (6k)

Optional but I got it anyways incase.

5. OCI Butyl Rubber Glue
6. Silica Gel Moisture Packs

Anything else? Harness wise, etc.. I would need.
Any tips such as removing what before I bake the Depo Headlights?
Do I have to cut into the cover to fit the HID Wire + Bulb?
Any splicing or tapping into any wire?
What about the High Beam, anything should I do with that?
People say the EVOX-R are DIRECT fit, so basically just unbolt and bolt the project onto the replaced area?

Thank you! Many questions and I have read the thread but not very detailed, hopefully this help future retrofitters.

Read my response on page 21 for what I did in my set up. It keeps you from having to cut the cover to ensure a perfect seal.

I removed 95% of the glue that comes with the Depos, as it's not as good as the Butyl rubber glue from TRS.
I initially had some issues with fogging up, but once I swapped the vent caps that came with the Depos, for the vent hoses that came with the OEM headlamps the fogging went away.

Alright! Could you clarify for me if these are the right parts?

1.
Amazon.com: Morimoto XB35 AMP Ballasts: Automotive Amazon.com: Morimoto XB35 AMP Ballasts: Automotive

2. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/acc...l#.VMcZ2VqTdFI
3. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.VMcaSFqTdFI
4. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/acc...l#.VMcaulqTdFI

When you said "vent hose" you meant the oem vent cap on the OEM headlights?

Thanks man! This really helped! What colour wires did you splice for the high beams?

I didn't use the HD relay but they I used the 3five ballast which they don't seem to sell anymore. I haven't had any issues without the relay.

I also used a splitter so I didn't need to splice wires for the bi-xenon solenoid. I kept the high beam bulbs plugged in.

Other than that, I think you have all the parts you need.

Awesome ! For the splitter , which conversion do I need ? Since its a 9007 bulb . Is it 9007>9006?

If you already have the EvoX-R's then this may save you some money. Just ask them to substitute the D2S ballast for AMP ballast.
You can also find free shipping or 10-25% off coupon codes online.

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid...l#.VMfTMP476nM

Then all you need are AMP to D2S adapters and Butyl Sealant. My kit came with high beam splitters.
The EvoX-R Bi-Xenon is not polarity sensitive so it doesn't matter what colors you splice on the high beam.
The splitters fit weird so I spliced mine inside the headlight to keep it clean, soldered and electrical taped it.

On the EvoX-R, make sure to test the Bi-xenon solenoid, test it like 30 times and make sure it doesnt get stuck.
There is also a spot on the BiXenon shield that is known to get stuck, a little trimming with some metal snips will take care of it.

My OEM non SSS headlights came with vent hoses with sponges at the end. I used thise instead of the Depo caps.
The Depo caps don't vent heat out fast enough and makes the vacuum weird which caused my lenses to fog evenly on both sides.

Uhh.... according to my retrofitsource invoice... it was this one.

2 x 9005 Male > 9005/9006 Female

it fits inside the headlight housing without any issue.

I'm not sure if this is fairly common, but the fitment was definitely about a 8/10. There is a noticeable gap on the lower edge under the projector and no amount of adjusting the bumper or headlight can get rid of.

I had the same gap.. I'd say about 1/8 inch, but you could see through the bumper. I just put two washers behind the screws that hold the headlight in place and it make the headlight sit forward more so there's no gap.

Has anyone purchased this yet?

Yup I tried talking to DEPO about these and they are not for sale. I think they were in australia for a little but they are unfindable. I searched pretty hard just because I really like the idea of the leveling switch. If you find it let me know though.

Hey guys so a few questions.

I don't drive the car in the winter so today was one of the first days I pulled it out of the garage since installing the depos prior to putting the car away for the winter time. It rained a bit and the headlights looked like this, I can't imagine this is normal?

Also, I'm hating the cutoff like of the lights and would like HID's, I installed HID's when I installed the headlights and they would keep flickering, I finally got pissed and just put the stock bulbs back in, I would like to do the retrofit projectors and actually have HID's that work, has anyone previously posted a how to and where to buy all of the parts?

Forgive me but it's been a long and tough winter and I hate scrolling through 23 pages of long information to try and find this stuff again :/

Thanks so much for the help guys..hopefully my luck turns around with these DEPOS

-Pat

If anyone is having issues with flickering HID's use a set of these anti-flickering capacitors from ebay: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1-Warning-Err...7cb203&vxp=mtr I've used them for years and no flickering

I have gone through pretty much all the post and has a lot of good info. I'm wanting to do the depo headlights with evo x-r projectors then black out housing.. I see everyone telling each other what is also needed HID wise since everyone is running NON SSS factory headlights to begin. Leads me to my question of me having the OEM SSS headlights would they be just a plug and play or what things would I need? reason going with the set up is oem lights have some damage before any mentions to utilize my oem set up for retrofit. Thanks for any advise given!

Do you have non sss to begin with? If so, you would have to buy a set of depot projectors to do the retrofit for an HID conversion anyway.

I do have the SSS headlights.. I wanted to know if any one else has had SSS package and been able to use factory HIDs with just the depo lights with evox-r projectors.. if anything I will just follow what everyone else have done like I didn't have them but if I could save the hassle and used factory HIDS it would be nice.
