Hey guys,
Just an FYI I went through the troubles of the WRONG diagram posted on the Axxess site.

Anyway... for those with or getting an Axxess ASWC for your audio upgrade the correct wiring info is as follows:


Pin 12: blue with black stripe (harness) = black green stripe (AWSC)
Pin 2: black with blue stripe (harness) = ground (to chassis)

Hit the reset for 2 seconds after wired up and turned on.


Hope this helps... took me a few hours to figure out how bad the Axxess diagram was...

You would think that Axxess would fix that. Their tech reps are clueless.

 

I remember doing that a long long time ago when i first bought my evo. I think the wiring was indeed wrong.

 

hmmm i'll have to give this a shot, couldn't get it to work in my '08 with the retrofitted steering wheel controls.

 

When I installed mine, I ended up calling Crutchfield and they helped me get it working. Great place to buy stuff if you arent an install pro.

 

Is this the reason why my steering controls are all backwards?!! My channel + is for volume down and somehow my Bluetooth controls became seek forward or back?!?

 

I have the pioneer avic navi but my blutooth doesnt work anymore. Can the axxess aswc fix this issue?

 

i could never get my axxess to work.. i ended up throwing it away..
however.. NO the access will not make the FACTORY blue tooth work in conjunction to your bluwtooth in your stereo.. it is a seperate box..

 

You're just looking at the plug backwards.

Count from the FRONT of the plug (correct way) and it's pins 9 and 19
Count from the BACK of the plug and its 2 and 12
