2012 MMCS compatible with older RCA connector?

Just got a new MMCS navi model (from what the dealer says) installed into my 2012 evo and was wondering if anyone had any experience installing the oem RCA (red, white, yellow) connector from previous models. The dealership obviously had no idea, but looking on the navi features, there's an option there for AUX so I'm assuming it should work. Any ideas?

The older connector will work. I too had a 2012 MMCS installed at the dealer and actually bought the video in connector box with me and asked them to install it at the same time.

It is a relatively simple install. Below is information I posted on a different thread previously.

The information below is for anyone interested in adding the auxiliary video in to their MMCS equipped vehicles

If anyone is interested in adding the auxiliary video input port to their vehicle, I purchased my adapter from here: http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/catalog/?section=616 The OEM part number is 8750A145

Another user, wrote up how to install the video aux in box here: http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/sho...t=31599&page=3 Scroll down and looks for Janus Prospero.

Thought I'd also add that I posted that information here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...2-mmcs-19.html

That thread will give you information how to unlock DVD-in-motion, even with the latest MMCS units if anyone with any MMCS is interested.
