Lol...yea i took care of it after i took the picture. i was rushing it cuz it was a hot a** day!

 

Damnit, so my pioneer was working good until today. It all of a sudden turned off on me. now my ignition 12V wire is not getting any power. i checked all the fuses and they are all still good. Damn You Mitsubishi!!!!!!

 

no way, double check your fuses under the dash and under the hood.

 

i was so angry, i must have checked 4 times a piece. i even replaced the fuses with spares. for a second i thought i blew my radio but i put a voltmeter to the wires and found that the igntion wire isnt getting power anymore. im going to check tomorrow to see if maybe it is the harness or something.

 

On the crutchfield harness adapter, did you have to swap the red and yellow wires around
to make it work ok? Something earlier in the post about wire colors switched on these cars....

Nah, i got it fixed. it was a fuse that was for my gauges. somehow it is connected to the radio wires. Yea, man i can help you as much as possible. what exactly are you planning to do with yours?

no, i didnt have to swap anything. everything matched up perfectly. the only wires i hear of switching around are from the METRA AXXESS(which i do not have yet so i cant agree).

 

About the wires, what was confusing to me is crutchfield has the proper harness for the car but it has only 10 wires or so. The factory harness has i think like 14 or 18 wires. i wanted to know what the other wires are for. I took a picture of all the damn harnesses that plug into the radio. There is one harness that is actually taped up and i have no idea what that goes to
