Can Anyone Help With Nexus 7 Dash Install (Software questions)

I know several of you are more savvy than I. Anyone provide any tips?

If anyone wants to help, I cannot get TWRP to recognize anything on my tablet. I have the Timur/USB ROM files, but can't get the correct folder to get install them. Nor can I get TWRP to find/ install SuperSU. I'm so stumped.

Are you trying a root or non-root install? You should be able to do either on the Nexus 7.

I did a root using Kingroot. Just cant get the CMD to work to install the correct version of TWRP. The issue is, my N7 has a build date of 5/2015 so I have to use a different version of TWRP that none of the installer apps use (they all try to use the "latest" version of TWRP with is 2.8.7.0).

Have you tried the Play Store app?

What version does your N7 need? The last build listed seems to be for the 2013 N7.

The last major revision was the 2013, but mine has a build date of 5/2015. Asus changed something on the chip that apparently makes any N7 built after 12/2014 a PITA to root and add custom recoveries to. Needless to say, took about 5 days and a full system wipe and reflash and it works. Highly recommend doing this as well as getting Timur's USB ROM.
