Has anyone figured out how (since I don't think you're supposed to) have the unit recognize an iPod hooked up via USB?

Is the 6.0 android stereo worth upgrading to from the 5.1?

Depending of what you use it for, if is for speed and your always in and out of the car. Then yes, if not then 5.1 will do the work.

Whenever I open the iPod app it just immediately closes. I'm going to update the firmware this weekend and see if it helps, but it doesn't seem like it works right. Kind of a bummer since the Bluetooth audio is bad.

So i have a 2015 ralliart with rockford fosgate. got the new android 6.0 unit from HotAudio and their Can-Bus for 2014+. I get no audio when everything is connected up.

I have working steering wheel controls, working backup camera, working bluetooth, working wifi tethering and gps. Just no audio at all.

I've followed the steps on youtube videos for setting up the can-bus in the factory settings and it doesn't make any difference.

Any idea what i'm missing or doing wrong? Below is the can-bus unit that hotaudio sent me (ordered from their ebay store hotaudio-store last week). Also the pic of the can-bus setting screen.

That is newer than mine so not sure, strange. Maybe a bad canbus or harness.

Turned out to be a bent pin on one of the connectors that leads to the canbus. Unbent it and it's working fine now.

Only issues left that we have is that the screen can't handle full brightness setting, it flickers off if you have it above 80%.

The other issue is that i wiped the menu button touch screen calibration and trying to reset the calibration or recalibrate the menu buttons doesn't seem to do anything. Not a big deal since soft-menu is at the top but still annoying.
