Need help with hid not working.
So I bought a car with these headlights, not sure what make they are and one isn't working. Not sure if it isn't just a burnt out bulb or if it's a issue with the system. Reason I think it is something else, since I had the car (last July) a lot of time both lights don't come on. I just turned it off then back on and they'd both fire. So here's some pics, any help appreciated.
And if it's a burnt out bulb, what bulb is this?

Also, a wiring diagram would be great, or pointed in the right direction of one. It's a really hacky install, my drl doesn't work and I'm sure those are led rings they don't come on either.

Bulb is bad.
But also check the relay (should be right off the battery pos terminal and to the ds/ headlight connector. Inspect for corrosion and use di-electric grease when putting it back on.
BTW: If your radio reception suffers when headlights are on - add another ground to the ballasts (to the body).

Had the same problem on my dads truck. Ended up being a bad connection at the factory harness/plug. Like posted above... could be a number of things. Ballast, bulbs, connections, etc. Try cleaning the connections first and go from there.

From the pics.... the kit looks old/beat/dirty. Like I said, it might just need a cleaning at the connections. If that doesn't work just look into the whole kit in general. They're not that expensive. Might as well replace everything while you're at it.

Oh sorry for not updating
It was the ballasts, the other went shortly after. New, better kit in now, with 6000k that I have much better vision with vs look. It was also suggested I use a relay setup to get full voltage to ballasts also. So when I get around to it before winter I'll get that all wired in.
