Remote start - Compustar 1-way remote

I've been researching tons of information about getting a remote start on my Evo X MR w/FAST key w/o Nav. Some people state to go into their nav menu for remote start, which I don't have. I'm not looking for the greatest and latest and any bells and whistles, something that I can start the car from inside my house. I spoke with a local place and they can install this for $412.00, not even sure if that's a good price but I am recovering from several back surgeries and can't do the install myself. If I purchase this, will I retain all factory controls, not having to hide my second key FOB inside the car, including my push to unlock? I hate even having to carry another FOB with me but it looks like I'll get use to it. Any other suggestions as well is appreciated.

What year MR? You could always get the OEM kit which would be a lot more plug and play. Any remote start should be fine, the trick is finding a quality installer who isn't going to hack up your factory harness with a bunch of splice connectors.

It's a 2012. Can I use the oem starter without touchscreen though? My best option would be oem if that's possible.

I can't say for certain. Going through the dealer would be your guaranteed best bet but I've seen the same OE kit on base Lancers/Outlanders without nav....
it may just be the 4 pin connector mentioned here:

Either way, good luck and speedy recovery!
