So I picked up my X a few months back and the radio has never worked, it’s an 08 gsr with the Rockford stereo. Stock head unit lit up and all the functions worked but no sound. Tried everything, and I’ve done a few radios so I understand how they work. So I checked the factory amp, the lights on and all connections are good. Yesterday I installed a new radio hopping the head unit was the issue but still no sound. The previous owner removed the factory sun because it blew so there is no sub and I don’t want too buy one of that’s not the issue. Anyone know if you unplug the sun the radio will work or not? Thanks
