My ETACS module is cooked: Service AWD System alert, no climate control, etc.
Do you think it’s worth paying more t have the dealer install it for a warranty on the ETAC/BCM or source one myself, and gamble? They want $1700 for P&L.

 

Interesting, that is a rare failure for sure. I would personally do it myself, but I have the tools and such. I would probably source a used one, but also depends on the price difference. Also, check online wholesale cost of the part to compare.
