Am I the only one who has noticed that the Open Port 2.0 availability date just slipped to the end of June from the previously advertised date of today....?

Dissapointing.

I have seen this game before with my Bazzaz Z-FI/TC system on my bike.... I ordered that in Decemeber 2007 and it shipped at the end of April 2008.... after it being promised several times by Bazzaz directly "It Will Ship In Two Weeks"

At least Tactrix arent taking orders on there unavailable parts unlike Bazzaz.

Anyway, I guess what I am asking is does anyone know how solid the new date is or should I give up waiting and improvise my own?

 

I would for sure cut Tactrix some slack as it's a *very* small operation run by 110% enthusiasts.

Just be glad it's being made at all.

i havent followed up mush on the cables but what is so cool about the 2.0 cable. i do not know what one i have but i got mine around 2 years ago.

 

It should support CANBUS required for the EvoX, and from my understanding also will do data logging to an SD card, no laptop connection required in the car.

Its not sold out, its just not ready. AFAIK, the software is not done. I am curious to hear when they will have map access of all maps on the X.

 

ahso....I see now. Wish it was ready....would like to log and play with maps....just for shiz and gizzles

 

Yeah we havent recieved any update emails yet saying its actually ready to go. Last I talked to Colby the software still wasnt ready.

 

I'll likely get a flashed ECU through Buschur and his sources but I'm looking for a way to log and/or tweak settings based on street or race gas. I tried my old OBD2 cable and Pocketlogger but it won't connect. What OBD generation does the new Evo X have anyways?
