Well compared to the 4G63 yes as has been documented by others but compared to other cars it is about average.

I read this to mean that for the EVO X this will be a data logging cable only and not for re-flashing the ECU? Is the correct?

Its definitely a reflashing cable for Evo Xs as well as many other vehicles.

I read it to mean that it will work for OBD2 Evos as well as CANBUS Evo X's. You will be able to reflash, otherwise its about useless.

Ok so if i have an ecutek tune, will i be able to use this tool to download that map and make my own adjustments as I add mods then flash it back into the ECU?

From the looks of it, you can do datalogs onto a SD card without a laptop, so there is more than one use for the cable.
