Where for art thou Tactrix and your Open Port 2.0 cable....
No cable and 27lbs = 11.8 , so yeah I know first hand for the last few MONTHS I do not need cables to go fast !!!!!
We now run 32lbs , slicks are next ..
All input is welcomed ....

32 PSI on the stock turbo? I'm assuming the boost curve must look like a ski slope as the RPM's go up, but the torque in the mid range is likely still good for a quarter mile improvement.
Since the precious cable hasn't been released yet, I ended up getting an OBD2 All-in-one so that I can get some baseline numbers on my current setup. I'm working on a few tricks of my own so that I can take advantage of increased timing and leaner A/F ratios when I add race gas for the track with a few turns of a dial.
I'm getting the ACT 6 puck clutch with flywheel installed on Wednesday and will likely drive it as much as I can Thursday and Friday to break it in before a Friday night trip to the strip. I may not "need" the cable to go low 12's but eventually it's going to be a godsend for Evo X tuning everywhere.
I guess we will see if it really appears on Tuesday, even if ECU flashing is unavailable until a future update, the ability to data log can really help get a good set of baseline numbers before making changes.

Well , here one of my Dyno runs in which we're holding 21lbs to reline

Since then we have changed our manifold which has given us even better gains and yes we do indeed run 30-32lbs . Lets note that our 11.8 run was done holding 27lbs at redline

Actually yes , thanks to John at Jestrtuning I've been data logging my car for the last 5 months which is why I've ran the boost I have for so long . With 17,000 miles on the clock now our car has been tested longer at higher boost than I think any-other X out there .
