Just ordered the cable and can't wait until the software is out. I would volunteer my car for testing but I'm sure they already have access to multiple cars for testing.

You're talking about the LED's in the unit itself?

Also is there anyway to get an extension cable OBD-II Extension Cable

I know that says "Cable, J1962M Right Angle to J1962F, 6ft" and Openport is a J2534 interface, will the cable work?
This website tells me it will for double the price.

I have a question about these cables.

If I were to send in my ecu to get flashed, could I use this software and cable, copy the flash, and put in on another evo x?

Yes, as long as you enter the correct immobilizer code for the vehicle you are copying the data to.

There is no software to support that, no.

Evoscan does not support the Mitsu CAN-BUS interface.

You can buy 12 cables if you like, but there is nothing you can do with them.

Sorry you are wrong, I am using the OpenPort 2.0 that is sitting on my desk currently as a paper weight!

So you are saying that Evoscan/ECUFlash will never support it(CAN_BUS) and OP2.0 is worthless for us X owners? Thanks!

But really, no need to be a *****. We all know that both teams are working hard to get the software out to support OP2.0.

So I'll ask again, will the cables(cheaper one) work as an extension even though the interfaces have different numbers?

Ok guys I'm confused. I know that the tactrix cable will eventually allow me to log (evoscan) and tune (evoflash) in the future.

But if I bought one tonight, what functionality would I have when i recieve it?

None for an Evo X. For pre-Evo X's, its only good for flashing.
