AMS Tunes the EVO X, Alot... 4 Different cars with different Modifications inside!

Now that I finally have a minute to sit down here at the shop, I thought it would be a good idea to show everyone how EVO X tuning is progressing so that you can know what to expect out of your EVO X. Below are the last 4 cars in recent memory over the past couple of weeks. Enjoy!

First up we have GW's blue EVO X on 93oct. This car has the following modifcations

AMS FMIC
AMS UICP or Hot pipe
AMS Intake pipe
AMS MBC

Here is SL's stock EVO X. Only change here is a BASE Flash, no custom tuning was done:

Here is CJ's EVO X which I just tuned yesterday. It has pretty much the entire ETS catalog on it with the stock boost controller. The comparison is untuned to tuned.

Here is Nicholas C's car. I honestly can't remember exactly what was done to his car. I do believe it has our exhaust and our hot pipe though. Hopefully he will jump in here and chime in.

Adding parts like the upper and lower piping and the FMIC and boost controller will not require a separate flash.

If you were to add an intake pipe or perhaps some other things to be made in the future it is possilbe that you could need a flash to handle them.

Do you guys have anyone trying E85 yet? I have E85 all over where I live, and would like to see what it can run with a good tune.

I have not yet had the chance to do anything like that. I would be a little concerned about the fact that injectors are already running at about 80% even on pump gas. Once they make some larger injectors for these cars, I am sure we will see a few cars come rolling through.

Chris, the car feels like a totally ride now (Thanks!). Question, why was my torque increase so much less than the HP increase? Out of the group of 4, my increase was lowest. Sorry about being less than sober when talking with you, but that Red Stripe will keep you Irie mon!

The increase on your car was lower over all because of the fact that you already had some parts on that increased your efficiency and a boost controller as well. These other cars started out with lower boost levels and also richer A/F ratios.

Hope you had a good time in Jamaica man... I sure am jealous!
