sorry.. i am from trinidad. There is one ecutek tuner but he mentioned to me that it is not profitable for him to purchase the software to tune my X alone. In trinidad, there aren't much X's. He mentioned to me me that ECUTEK was working on some software that would enable me to log the car and send it to a remote tuner who would provide a tune and then i would flash the ECU. I know there are mail in flashes but here in trinidad we have 90 AKI levels here and the JDM cars we get here are tuned for 100 RON so there needs to be some serious custom tuning to take off some timing, leaning out the mixtures and turning up the boost. Appreciate some feedback

Is it against forum rules to ask for a ECUTeck shop in St. Louis?

I feel like I'm in an island. No tuners around for as far as the eye can see... wait, is that a tuner? Yes, but it's just an old Talon. Darn. OH, is that an EVO? No, just someone's GTS they put a body kit on....

Help! :-D

At AMS we do mail in flashes. I can turn the ECU around the same day you get it to me in 99% of cases. If you would like to send your ECU in, it is $495 for the flash, which includes your licensing fee from ECUTeK.

I have successfully flashed ECU's from other countries including the JDM ones.

If you have any questions about it feel free to PM me or give us a call 847 709 0530

Here is a link to it on our website:

Just to be sure, if our cars don't have either the stock pipe or the AMS pipe, you don't offer the service, correct? I understand why you wouldn't, just wanting to make sure

If you can wait a few weeks ECUflash should be available VERY soon. It's even free provided you buy the Tatrix cable. Still FAR less than a mail in flash and is customizable to whatever you want.

check the wheelsjamaica website(www.wheelsjamaica.com) check the tuning or force performance section mitsu/subbi for jimpro who is the ecutek person on the site and he will be extremely happy to help/point you to whatever you will need, he is a really cool guy and his customer service is very topnotch

I have a few other pipes that i have made maps for here at the shop. If anybody would like to PM me their specific setup, I should be able to make a custom map for you as well.

Thanks
Chris

yes there is a way for you to do remote Tuning with Ecutek.

Its called EASYECU. its software and cable with keycode, but might be vehicle specific so you need to call ecutek or have one of the vendors on here find out for you

here is some info on it
