I'm kinda pissed that razorlab is tuning customers' cars , but we are still sitting here all worked up with our cables in our hands and no way to tune. If they are tuning why cant I? Ive had my cable since early September. Being constantly told "very soon" is a bit of a tease.

I think I see what you are getting at.

I believe there are several issues to why it hasn't been released.
One it is not only for the EvoX, they are still wrapping up the new XMLs files for the previous Evos. If you look in the ECUFlash forum you'll see that they are trying to gather up new XMLs from previous Evos for the new release.
Basic maps are found in the EvoX but not ALL
The EvoX has several different XML files for the same ROM ID. So even though bob and joe both have a GSR with ROM ID 6666, Joe maybe able to use ECUFlash but Bob wont...... The only way to work around this issue is to edit the addresses in the XML file to match Bob's car.
I'm sure there are alot more issues that I'm not aware of so please be patient.......

The only thing holding up the ECUFlash X release is getting the known table definitions ready. They need to be scaled and put into an organized layout. The beta testers are working on this now.

I understand the frustration, wickedchimp, Rguy, and others.
We've all waited a very long time for the new ecuflash to support the Evo 10's.
Please don't think I am laughing at everyone with their "useless" 2.0 cables while sitting on the dyno tuning Evo 10's.
I'm collecting a ton of different data, on Evo 10's with a bunch of different modifications and will be sharing everything very shortly for the whole community to share.
This weekend I am looking to creating "standardized" XML files for the USDM GSR and MR. This will be posted to the beta group and hopefully added to by the other beta testers. If you can believe it, we only really have one guy doing actual ECU disassembly and he doesn't even live in the USA. So in reality it's actually coming along quite quickly given the circumstances.
Other things I will be working on is creating a "How-to" for the Evo 10 and the current EcuFlash tables. This will be posted on this community.
I will also be posting a bunch of datalogging in the usual pretty graphs I post. Please search some of my previous threads/posts with the evo 8/9 to see what I mean.
I will also make available *very* shortly boost pills and the whole boost assembly for the community.
Now, for a bit of reality. There are still a ton of tables to yet be found for EcuFlash. For a basic modded Evo 10, what we have currently works pretty well, but we have yet to scratch the surface. I can imagine another person adept at disassembly would be a huge asset to this cause, if you are that somebody or know of somebody, I am sure we and the community would be very greatful if you joined the team. I would be disassembling myself if I knew how, trust me.
So yes I understand the frustration, but please do not think I am standing around "tooning" 10's for no reason.

He helped me with a few of the maps which he took the risk of testing ..

Given that AP is out now along with ecutek which has been out for awhile..we need ecuflash to come out now more than ever. Let's save our fellow members a ton of money and show them they dont need to buy funny devices and licenses to tune their own cars.
