^ all maps are free to download . check out the cobb website and youl anwser alot of your questions. the perrin ones only come with the one they buy. they are in process of developing maps for the intakes and drop-in. so nothing is safe for the moment for intake mods. unless going custom tune.

I am currently waiting for my AP to come in. I just got a response from Chris at Perrin and YES drop in filters are fine to run with their stage one map.

K&N and HKS drop-in filters are ok with the Perrin stage 1 map.
Avoid the Works drop-in filter because it causes it leans it out too much.

There will be a subset of what is available on our map download page loaded in the AP. We're hoping to have a intake map out this week or next to show we're working on it.

Thanks,

AEM will be the first map release since it was the first intake we received.

Thanks,

You going to sneak in any drop-in filter love when you release the AEM map?

Thanks,
How much of a difference would you presume a drop-in K&N filter would be versus the AEM intake? Should it be safe to use the AEM map with my configuration?

i want to get the AP.. is it safe to do that with off the shelf map?
