At 14.7 psi it runs 220 load? The stock turbo hits that at 21-23psi.

 

Pure stock hits about 255 load at around 3500 RPM (23 psi). At 7000 RPM it drops to about 180 (12 psi).

So I wonder how it can open the UK roms if all UK- ECU are locked (ecutek locked them if I am not mistaken)?

 

That's odd, we can read other EDM ROMs such as the FQ360 & RS....

 

Cool .. yours actually replied with NO KEYS WORKED !!

There's some issues with UK roms .. they are rendered unable to read or write using ECUFlash ..

On the bench .. the ECU responds the same to the flash ..

Sorry .. So far only FQ330 and FQ360 are the only roms we can read now ..
I have an idea why this is so .. but can't confirm it

When you say the bench, do you mean with just a power supply and the OBDII connection ?

Does this message have to do with any locking that the initial Ecutek programmed ECU might have ?

Assumptions of what is happening, suggestions (how it can be solved ) are very welcome

How did you guys turn the P0420 code off for cat efficiency? For those people running a cat delete.

 

Disabling the rear O2 is not available in ECUFlash yet so people that have them use the O2 fix (anti-fouler or 90 degrees bend).

 

A few months have passed now... I wonder, any luck on that front ?

 

My friend tried to read a JDM EVO X rom, and he got similar error (with AFS warning sign at the display too).

Any solution to this? He cannot even start his car.

goto ECU on the dropdown menu and select EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE ..

I'm sorry, but are you talking about the ECU Flash? Do we have exit programming mode option at the ECU flash?

He got those message when he is trying to read the rom.
