so for the first release would everyone be happy with KnockCEL + Altmaps (activated by CruiseControl ON/OFF hold AND meth failsafe activation)?

anyone want anything else desperatley?

I think that's a perfect v1 tephra, especially if you're still thinking of adding other features.

Did you work out a suitable alternative for the meth failsafe for USDM people? As always, I'm interested and more than willing to test.

yeah - I think I will hijack the fuel tank TEMPERATURE sensor, this is easy to simulate.

then all you need todo is have a relay that grounds the temp sensor input when failsafe kicks in...

can you test that? ie do you have meth or failsafe type setup?

I won't be on a meth setup for a bit yet, but I could just simulate a "fail" with voltage, right?

That sounds like a great V1 to me. NLTS is pretty huge for me, but it can wait until V2

One thing I did not think about until today... are there going to be alt expected airflow/tq maps? I have not gotten to this stage in the tuning since my HFC with wideband bung is in the mail, but as far as I had read it was better to modify these than just disable the DTC.

Let me know if I'm off base, just wanted to throw it out there.

xPRimNT - yeah you can simulate, but not with voltage, but grounding the wire to chassis

fostytou - yeah not doing NTLS just yet... I am not going to altmap the airflow/tq maps, not unless there is a good reason todo so... DTC disable works exceptionally well IMHO

Yea please no airflow maps on alt map, sick of them. Even with my tuner adjusting them, he didn't spend too much time, i get the soft code every once in a while.
