Question About COBB Stg. 2 w/Forge WGA & Boost Pill
So I am trying to iron out the optimal setting for the Forge WGA. I do get a slight spike to about 26-26.5psi, with the COBB Stg.1 Map + SF Intake 93 octane. I did get a bit of knock with this map about 1.1 to 1.4 knock retard.
So then I decided to switch maps to the COBB Stg.2 + SF Intake 93 Octane. Which kind of increased the boost level to 27-28psi (I left the stock boost pill intake)
Since I did not want it to raise the boost anymore. Should I take out the boost pill and will it lessen the boost? I only get now 0.2-0.7 knock retard in 4th and 5th gear pulls.
(I do not have the DP, TP, or CBE put in yet, all stock.)
Car feels good right now, no issues I'll play with the wastegate a bit more to lessen that boost spike.
So the question is with the COBB Stg.2 93 Oct + SF Intake tune and stock boost pill left in, should I leave the boost pill or take it out? If I take it out will it lessen the boost level?
OR
Should I switch back to COBB Stg.1 93 Octane + SF Intake?
Any input will be great.

I think that taking out the boost pill will actually INCREASE boost, which you definitely don't want. If it were my car, I would run the stage 1 map unless you have a wideband to know what a/f ratio you are running with the stage 2 map. I would run the stage 1 map, and modify the map to reduce timing in areas that you are seeing knock.
