it maybe useful only if your road is absolutely level, and your weight input and parameters are spot on.

Based on those numbers I'd say no. Those are pretty high.

I would say it's useful to compare before and after mods to your car. If (big if) you keep all other variables identical, like temperature, road etc. And this is no different than any other dyno on this green planet... they all are different and they all have different operators.

I don't find it useful. It shows very high numbers and inconsistencies. Use a dyno or a trap speed as a better indicator.

Accelerometers are too inconsistant to rely on for an accurate indication of power gains....and can never really give an accurate max power reading...they are better suited to show G-Loads and sustained cornering ability...stick to a calibrated Dyno for power indicators...(even then there are variables in question)....and trap-speeds are a great measure to show the health of a tune.

So it does measure/estimate whp versus bhp? This is what I got. I too am curious how accurate it is.

Well I installed my AP from Perrin this week with the custom Perrin map, I also bought the panel filter. This is installed on an 08 X MR. Those are my only mods. First run with no launch was a 2.4 second 0 - 60' time with a 0-60 time of 5.4.. I played a bit more with it today and got a 0-60' time of 3.0 seconds and a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds with a slight launch around 3k, I also got the slow down message. Also it read 315 hp and 340 tq. Does anybody know if the AP displays/estimates wheel or crank hp?

Choose the performance screen from your AP, pick dyno, choose your weight, gear that you will run in and the start and stop rpm. Then run.

Ap dyno accuracy?

I had my custom tune done after my full tbe and k&n panel filter install. My car dynoed 305.6 hp, and 377.1 tq on the dynapak dp 4000. I just used the dyno feature on my ap, 2 weeks after my tune and the ap showed 356 hp, and 375 tq. There seems to be a big discrepency here. Tq seems on par with my tune but hp is much higher. I did my pull in 2nd gear from 2000-7000 rpms. Max hp was 356.13 @ 6521 rpms, max tq 375.78 @ 4290 rpms.
