Boost solenoid question
Boost solenoid question
This is probably going to get a little bit confusing but it would be much appreciated if someone could shed some light on this subject.
I used to have a Perrin Manual Boost controller and when i made the switch to that, i lost all of my stock solenoid hoses. I went to Mitsubishi and told them i needed all of the hoses for the stock boost setup and the hoses that they gave me were correct minus the fact that they had absolutely no restrictor pills in any of the hoses as the stock setup does.
Now i have made the switch to Cobb accessport and am running a AEM truboost guage / controller. I have had the absolutely hardest time trying to get the settings strait on the truboost and I am ready to just let the accessport settings on the ecu regulate my boost.
My question is does anyone know what the best possible solution would be to getting my stock boost solenoid hooked back up with the correct configuration of boost pills ?
Another question would be if i bought the Perrin boost solenoid that plugged directly into the factory equipment, would that require and boost pills from it to the WGA and turbo as the stock one does ?
Thanks

i dunno about the boost pills but
the 2 top fittings join together to one hose... T the WGA and put that hose in...
the bottom 2 join also and go to intake or, as i did just put it on the side
at least i dont have a problem w/ that

yeah my issue isn't where to hook the stock hoses up. It is rather where the boost pills belong or rather than searching for where to buy boost pills if i can hook the perrin boost solenoid into my setup and not use any boost pills in my setup at all ?
i dont use pills.... but in any case.. it goes to the hose you tee at wga if my memory serves em correct
