Everytime I attempt to use map tracer in Evoscan I get a blank map. Does anyone know why this happens? Attached is a log file I'm trying to map to modify in Ecuflash.

Check the item check box you want to see, in bottom view do rigth mouse click and load your ROM and XML.

 

what version have you got ? Sorry just checked the photo.

I loaded the hex file but when I hit the item I want to see in the check box it doesn't populate anything at the top? Do I need to take another log when the hex is loaded to see which load cells I hit?

 

i also had some probs before with this. go do another log and log the items u want then goto map tracer, on the bottom part right click to open the hex you used for logging and on the left select item you wanna view (1 item only). mine worked. do you have mode23 enabled ?

I have mode 23 enabled. However I'm a bit confused; when I'm going to log I simply open evoscan and hit the start logging button. I don't load any hex, maybe that's what I'm doing wrong. What is the proper way to do this?

 

Okay I thought Map tracer was not working. Sh*t maybe I need step by step too lol.

 

Are you trying to log all of that stuff that's selected at the same time? That's not going to show much. It will slow down significantly.

 

His just talking about map tracer in Evoscan I thought we could not use it yet. But maybe im wrong. Does not work for me and also I do run 2.6 how do you get 2.7? HTML if you got it.

This should apply for tephra roms or normal roms.

Make sure you don't have anything in the evoscan XML for your rom other than scaling and fuel/timing maps (or maps you want to see). Log a referenced version of your load and title it the same as ECUload (rename ECULoad to ECULoadDEAD or something).

 

Hey man let you know 2.7 works fine for me. After installing the update do a log from 2.7 and after that go to tracer and load the log that is from 2.7 and the hex you are using on your car and everything will load up. It will give you some error when loading your log (2.7) just keep clicking okay till tracer pops up then right click the grey area load your .HEX file that on your car and everything will work fine.
