Yes i live in tucson but i go to mt. lemon alot which is about 30 mins from my house. It gets down below freezing during winter(9500ft+ above sea level). I also visit the white mountains a few times a year and they undersood that.

Yup it sure is but many Mitsu "technicians" may not be aware of the problem as there is no TSB! The TSB referenced in this thread is for condensation freezing inside some of the green relays (the fuel pump relay is not referenced in the TSB) a problem the black relay does not have as it apparently is sealed against moisture better than the green ones!

I replaced the black one with a green relay and I order a blue one just because!

The "new" grey MFI relays, part number MR400709, is in reality an old relay already used in many other Mitsu cars? This is what it seems puttind that code in various OEM part finder online.
