Just making sure you know that Tephra completed map switching (sounds like you know but just confirming).

I can send you all the AP logs you want.

I haven't purchased a Cable yet, so I can't help. I'm sure others would be willing.

update:

had the hood popped last night and Fostytou pointed out that my FPR->TB hose had popped off (ironic since when we did the injectors last week, it seemed quite snug, so of course I didn't zip tie it...)

this would explain the difficulty I have encountered getting trims (particularly idle!!) in check. also explains why, with very little tuning, I was able to get great AFRs at WOT, and after the hose was reconnected, I now get the regular Evo X 9.5 AFR at WOT.

trims currently sitting at +7/-3 idle/cruise. will finalize latencies today and get the tune sorted out hopefully will post final scaling & latencies when done.

Tephra: if you need some TephraMod-X v1 testers, Fostytou & I would be happy to oblige... although neither of us are running meth setups, nor do we have plans to (-:

I tuned a set of these injectors last week on a 2010 MR-T

They tuned out pretty well. Another nice option for injectors for the 10.

I knew you weren't a fan of the pigtails, but figured you'd come around. The pigtails seem to lock in snugly, all though they are a bit long...

Care to share your scaling/lat figures for reference?

Code:
4.69 6.120
7.04 5.352
9.38 3.168
11.73 2.184
14.08 1.56
16.42 1.08
18.77 1.008
Gas (93) scaling: 943. Resulting trims: -2 idle, -1 cruise
E85 scaling: 696. Resulting trims: -2.75 idle, -1.75 cruise. these probably have a tiny bit of settling to do yet. Will update if I change anything.

just got mine and installed couple of days.

so far i managed to get idle -3.9 and cruise +0.97 but will do more testing tomorrow.

as for idle i let it ran for 2 cycles 16-18 mins x 2 to double check the trims
1st cycle was -1.97 and the 2nd cycle ended up with -3.9

for cruise i did some driving around town and used cruise control on the freeway and spent approx. 30-40 mins on the road and managed to get between -1.0 and +1.0 ended up with +0.97

here's my settings : Scale 943
5.904
4.872
2.880
1.992
1.512
1.176
1.056

on the 1st test runs with slightly different settings :

initially the car fired up fine not much of an issue on start except when i went for a movie and the car sat for about 3 hours or so i had to crank (3-5 secs) longer than normal then it fired up then idle normal. did some logging and tried other settings after resetting ecu the car fired up normal.

while driving to the cinema logging for cruise i had to do a little "spirited" driving the car kind of jerks a little but it does not do that on slow normal drives.

note : High Octane map is still the same as previous setup and will re-tune it once the dial ins has been setup correctly.

do feel free to chime in if anyone has similarities. will post more results after more testings.

cheers

I have my 3 trims up all the time on my EvoScan Nav, so I can see what they are.

They do drift quite a bit. On Monday / Tuesday, it was hot and they were both around 0 to +1%. Then on Wednesday and Thursday it rained and was cooler. Trims went to -3% and -1%.

My latencies are real close to yours. I do run E-85, so my scaling is 30% less.

Its normal for the trims to vary with weather. The algorithm for metering fuel does not account for all possible environmental conditions needed to meter out the correct amount of fuel. The fuel trims handle these small deviations.
