Idling problems - solved

I had big problems with hesitation and stalling after ECU reset. Changed spark plugs, air filter, MAF sensor, remapped to stock and still the problems.

A man at garage adviced me to take off the intake and clean throttle plate. The throttle plate was totaly dirty with something ugly black. I cleaned the whole TPS part and the problems with idling are gone!

Just wanted to share this experience, maybe it will help someone.

Meth would help, I also serviced mine recently after swapping in that prototype intake manifold. It wasn't all that bad but had some buildup on it. The main reason that get clogged up is from running the oil vent back into the intake system. Get a nice crankcase ventilation canister and avoid oiling up your entire intake piping!

I did not take out whole manifold, just the air intake box (to have more place for work) and than the pipe from BOV and the pipe from turbo to throttle plate.

It is not, according to the service manual.

I called a dealer and asked what is involved in the 15k service and he listed cleaning the throttle body as one.
