HKS SQV BOV recirculation

EVO X; injen intake and UIP in conjunction with non recirculating HKS BOV. Recirculate or not to recirculate? that is the question. I know that when over boosting in an EVO IX the flutter of the valve causes the car to stutter while cruising in higher boost levels. So far I have no problems on the X with no recirculation, but is the car performing any better or worse than if I were to recirculate the system?

i have almost the same parts as you, Injen short ram, hks bov, amongst other things, i noticed that the intake seems to blow air out at the same time the BOV opens, do you get that? i hear the intake making almost like a similar noise to the BOV when i let off the gas, im assuming because the valve does not open the instant i let off the gas, so it pushes the rest out of the intake filter. in the manual it tells me to install the recirc fitting or the BOV wont work properly but i didnt put the fitting on anyways.

I too would like feedback on this subject.

Have a look at my post, the 6th reply in this thread where I discuss a solution to laggy blow off.
