Exclamation Boost problems!

so today i was driving my car home while monitoring my boost on my AP and i noticed i was only peeking at 21 psi. the car felt a little weaker, almost as if the boost was completely falling off at around 6k RPMS. i also noticed a kind of strange pudder from the exhaust, like a constant "pudup pudup pudup" noise. i usually peek at 26-28 PSI (is this considered over boosting for the base stage 2 LWG 93 octane map?). so i made sure all the IC piping was tight while the car was hot then i switched to the base 91 octane LWG stage 2 map and nothing had changed except a slight decrease in power. so i loosened the top nut on my agency power BOV and let the car sit for like 3 hours. i then switched the map back to stage 2 LWG 93 octane and now everything is back to normal (peeking at 26-28 PSI again)... keep in mind my boost pill is out. all the mods are in my sig. should i be worried?

after messing with the IC pipes i did throw the car on ramps only to find out that my axle back became un hinged from the rubber hanger. i fixed that and then tightened all the v clamps. i was still under boosting after that. but now everything is fine... i just wanna know what was going on..

Maybe the exhaust becoming unhinged caused a small exhaust leak, depending how far off the exhaust was.

i have the perrin cat back. one of the rubber hangers that hold the axle back section of the exhaust wasn't doing its job and my tips were completely off. so i fixed it. i don't think there is a leak . is there an easy way to check for one? everything sounds fine now..

Not too familiar with the agency power bov, but that could be the problem if its not holding boost. If you are not full recirc and are vta a little or alot, it could be having issues holding boost and the lack of air going back would cause your exhaust to backfire and the engine to stumble a bit. I dont know, just a thought.
