question about ecuflash and cobb ap

I have a question about using Cobb ap. Right now my car is tune on opensource, I just bought a Cobb ap and I was wondering if I install Cobb AP to my car would it erase my tune on my car?

I would have to say yes, it would. if you install the AP and put in one of there maps it will flash over your opensource tune.

Yes, it will, but when you install it, it makes a backup of your current tune. If you uninstall the AP, it reverts the ECU back to the code that was on it when it was installed.

The question is why do u want to do this ^ ? If you want to use the cobb ap but not use the "included" tunes then you would have to bring it to a tuner that has the cobb pro tune and they would have to make u another map.
