need advise on mod n tuning

i have Evo X SST. I just install ETS intake and boost controler. I did not tune the car yet, because i am waiting for the other stuff. unlucky where i live evo x parts are not easy to get. I already got 3 time engine light on one of my friend tunes evo x. he have deleted the error code and turns the engine light off. i need advise should i remove intake n bosst controler and put back stock intake n bosst controler on and wait for the all the stuff to come and install everything once and tune the car to avoid the engine light problem or keep it like this and when ever i get the engine light on just delete the error code. please advise me

thank you

no one can answer that unless you actually pull the obdII codes to determine what the car is unhappy about.... could be any number of things. If your not willing or able to pull the codes then put the car back to stock until you can treat it with a little respect.

thank you for your reply. My friend does tunning and when ever i get engine light on he connect the evo scan and check the code and delete the code and then engine light is gone and car runs fine. is it a good way to deal with the issue ?

thanks
