I'm fairly new to the Evo X. Just picked it up about a month ago. Prior to this I had an E92 M3 and before that an 07 STi with bolt-ons running on E85. I was using the AP and liked the ability to change maps on the fly (E85<-->93), read codes, etc. There's a local shop that I plan on going to when the time comes for a tune. They don't use the AP but rather ECUFlash. I'm not very familiar with it. What are the major differences, pros and cons between the two in regards to:

-Cost
-Tuning parameters
-Ease of tuning
-Switching maps and hardware/software needed
-Limitations

Please chime in and add anything else you think might be relevant

 

ECU Flash is definitely cheaper. Cobb seems to be easier to switch maps etc.
