Cobb AP Stage 2 Question

Hey guys so I just installed the COBB AP on my 2012 evo gsr and used the stage 2 91 octane OTS map with the mods in my signature. Now everything seems to be fine but I was thinking of going to the stage 2 93 octane map. Only thing is the gas up here goes from 91 oct to 94 at Chevron. Will this be okay to run the 93 oct map on 94 oct? and is it even worth going to that map? Will I see any more gains as far as HP or TQ? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't imagine you would see much improvement, if any - sorry, maybe word that as I don't think you would notice any real gains - when running 94 on a 93 octane map. You'll notice a jump going from being tuned on 91 and then being tuned for 93, but running 94 on a 93 map probably won't wow you too much, you'll only really notice a big difference if you forget to run a minimum of 93 after reflashing haha.

Could be wrong, but maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

Uploaded the stage 2 93 oct map today. Car runs perfectly with 94 oct. No idle issues or anything. Awesome !

I would imagine you'd only be slightly increasing your resistance to knock using a higher octane fuel than your tune requires.
