Service engine soon light was on. Linked up the windows phone to my elm 327 Bluetooth and pulled the code using AutogaugeX. "Bank 1 02 Sensor negative current". Is it failing on me.


I warmed up the car before I started driving. I shoveled the walk/driveway. Left the house to pick up some things and as I was driving the light came on. I cleared the code while in line at mcdonalds stopped at home depot for rock salt and the light came back on.


any ideas?

 

going to check out my fuel pump relay after another warm up.

 

Bad Sensors I guess. I'll just start throwing parts on it.

 

This would be a clue to try and change the 02 sensor......
Or find someone with a descent scanner and read the values of the 02 sensors.
give me your money if you are going start "throwing parts at it"

 

The weather is better and I'm due to change my oil so when I get under there ill throw my multimeter at it and see what pops up. The SES light is off and on with this code so I think its a bad sensor.

If this is the case should I go wideband?
