I just purchased a 2012 GSR that has a few mods but I'm not sure how to tell if it has a tune or not. So, how can I check this?

Buy a tactrix cable. Download EvoScan and Ecuflash. And a get a cheap laptop if you don't have one. Its an invaluable toolset to have for owning a tuned evo...

 

Even if it is or isn't tuned I would like to get a tune but I'm still not sure what software/hardware to use. Everyone seems to be happy with an AP protune. I'd also like to know what tuner is recommended in the western NC area.

 

check out spec ops motorsports in fayetteville. they're about 4 hours from me, but well worth the drive. making the drive this weekend to get the next round of parts installed and a tune.
