I think that if they break 400whp with the fuel pump on pump gas I'm literally going to **** my pants... I'm so on edge with following this car; very impressive stuff. Please keep feeding the good info, it's like a drug, lol.

Wow, thats insane! How lean is the car running? any knock? the only way to know if this car is making this much power is to take it to the track and see if the traps = the whp..Anyways, good job guys!!!

^ +1. I would also like to see trap speed on this car.

TT dyno is notorious for reading high.

Yea i think some guy a few weeks back made 400whp on a IX on pump gas or something like that on that dyno on the stock turbo and bolt ons

I don't think their dyno reads any higher than other dynojets. I dynoed over there and then added a fmic and then dynoed at ics a yr and a half later and they were within a few whp.

From the graph on page 2, you can see that peak whp is being made at 5800 RPM. At this point the car must be holding 3 to 5 psi more than it was before for it to pick up the additional power. You can see from the graph after than point the boost must be coming down pretty fast. There is away around this and to get it hold a little more boost without peaking as high, but no one has wanted to try it yet.

Interesting none the less.

I've done a ton of research on this forum to learn about the vendors so I can decide who to work with when I finally order my X.

I've noticed the same thing you two mentioned. Several threads about these guys where the consumer has ridiculously high numbers (almost too good to believe) and then timeslips that can't stand up to the claimed HP gains or the owner won't post timeslips. I don't know who to believe in those situations, but it does raise some level of doubt for me.

If TurboTrix is willing to make a guarantee of these numbers, than I'm all for it. Until then we'll have to see if these are legit once the car is on a track and they post timeslips.

Also, how safe/reliable is the car at this power level?

If there was a track that was open we'd be there tonight. We want to know what it will run as much as anobody else.

All we're doing is posting results as we get them. We're not ready to offer anything to the general public for the X till we do further testing.

With 2 shop cars now we have the ability to test everything twice to back up our data. We're going to "lean on" the white car to see what the fuel system, turbo and the motor can handle. The other car is getting the basic bolt-ons for now.

I'll have a few run videos up later today.

Interesting. I would like to see how long it can hold that much power without a closed deck. I diddnt think the new motor was going to be any good to be honest so I went with the 08 STI. Now it looks like the 4b11t is up to the job so far.

^Our STi's don't have a closed deck either, they are semi-closed aluminum just like the 4b11. Plus, semi closed decks can still hold a lot of power. I've seen STi's with 6-700 on the stock block with just upgraded internals. The evo X would've been the better buy I think, but either way I hope you enjoy your sti. BTW Keith or Jeff, what was the fix for hitting fuel cut? I am still very curious to see dyno graphs, and when you guys post them, could you put up the boost curves and A/F curves to show what they are doing now? Thanks guys, and keep up the great work.
