Not sure what happened, the turbo was a new prototype and somethings things just happen. We were into the tuning about a half dozen pulls and then the car started smoking. Looks like the turbo had a seal failure.

buschur's probably going to get mad at us for giving constructive criticism...

anyone who commens/asks/laughs at anything he does in a bad way or not even in a bad way and he will literally tell you you're the biggest p.o.s and be hella mean so i never ask him questions

he has the worst attitude of any vendor I have seen on any forums

ummmm, you're kidding right?

Dave has always been helpful whenever I've asked him a question, even if it meant telling me NOT to buy one of his parts because it wasn't right for what I was trying to do. He almost always replies within a few hours or the next day. And not just one word replies either, he explains a little bit of why he made the recommendation he did.

And if I call, Nick and Jarrod are always just as helpful. And they do it in a no-BS kind of way, just straight to the point. Maybe to some people that's mean, but to me it saves me a lot of time. Plus I know they're busy guys, so I don't want to make them spend a half hour on the phone trying to sell me a part that I already know is better than 90% of what's out there and just as good as the other 10%.

Here's an update We did it in a big way too!

Wow, that's what I think of the difference adding the Cosworth cams to the EVO X. Very good gains.

Just adding the cams, with no retune what-so-ever, the car picked up 30 whp at around 6,000 rpm and 28 ft lbs at peak torque. I knew it was only going to get better after the car was tuned.

As you will see from the below dyno graph before the cams the boost was set at 25.2 psi and after the cams the boost was 24.7 psi. I did not bother to re-adjust the boost or try to run more boost during any of the dyno runs. I wanted to tune the car at a level I can use for any customer.

Here is the dyno sheet of our EVO X with our Stages 1-3 on it, 780 injectors and the Domininator turbo on it VS. the same thing with the new Cosworth cams and tuned. 407 whp and 341 ft lbs of torque on 93 octane!

Here is the dyno sheet of the car with our Stages 1-3 on the car on the stock turbo with stock cams. We've gained 110 whp and 46 ft lbs!

Now that you have a bigger turbo on the car, would you consider doing an o2 housing test again? I know before you said on stock turbo it wouldn't be worth it, but possibly on a bigger turbo.....which you now have

Would be good to know, I know I'd rather install a new o2 housing at the time I installed that dominator than afterwards!
