Thanks for the bump.

Of course we're always working on things. We've just been very busy lately with everything. We'll do some updates shortly.

Thank you for the compliments and questions. I completely bypassed the stock boost selonoids, same way we do it on the EVO8-9's. Not sure how the others did it, I'd assume the same way though. We do use our BR inline controller which has shown to have equal to or least taper of any MBC we've tested.

I didn't look at the torque increases everyone else is getting. I will have to take a look. One thing I noticed in some of the other testing was atleast two companies are testing on race gas and have bypassed the fuel cut allowing more boost. Nothing wrong with either but both would greatly increase the torque output. The boost obviously does, the race gas allows the timing to stay up higher too.

The MAF pipe I also feel could increase the power. If the car sees less air coming through it is going to run lower load cells in the map, this could make the car run leaner (more power) and also the lower load cells have higher timing numbers (more power again). I, of course cannot be certain that is what is happening but know that is how it has worked in the past.

I am running a fairly poor mixture of fuel and I am not exceeding the factory boost levels by more than 1 psi. The most boost I have scene is 24 psi and the car fuel cut.

I'll take some time and do some reading about the other companies progress tonight.

Also found out that the software that is coming to tune the car with will allow us to get rid of the CEL from the offroad pipe. Perfect.

Nice work to date, love the pipes. I just chimed in about the fuel. Maybe its just me but I bet the fuel has a good deal to do with it. Maybe nobody noticed but gas is less potent now. I was getting 30 mpg one day, and the next it was 25. It never went back. I think the fuel at the pumps you get now isn't as good as it was when you did the 8 and 9. If you factor that in I bet it is closer than it seems. What does everyone else think? Also I lost about 10 percent max speed when I lost that 5 miles to the gallon. It just doesn't pull as good especially on a hill. I think you might of put 5 gallons of fuel in that has a percentage of bio fuel. You should go back to the pump and check. Gas just keeps getting less usefull as before. Imagine if you were testing on the old orange fuel with lead. ;]

I like how your doing this though. No inflated numbers just the cold hard truth. I bet with some better fuel that torque will jump on up. Also once he gets it dialed in I think he will pick it up too, like the others mentioned did.

I just read through this entire thread. I love the updates.
Can't wait to see what the X will make with all these mods plus ECU tuning.

Great work Buschur!

Ridge Racer: I've noticed the same - ever since they started mixing the 10% ethenol (and every brand has it now), the mileage dropped at least 3 mpg, if not more on all three of my cars. Two are Forced and one NA. It sucks. We all need to move to Dubai (UAE) with our EVOs where they sell 95 oct as the lowest, and 98 as premium for $2 / gallon!! Track days would be so much cheaper (at the Dubai Autodrome)

Update

The car has now run a best of 12.29 and 112.4 mph in the 1/4. The car is still on the stock clutch, stock turbo, stock downpipe and only running 93 octane fuel.

Build a downpipe for that car and lose the cat! Amazing MPH, very cool.

Its a great feat for that E.T. with a stock clutch. Congrats.

No weight has been removed over than the weight losses from our parts. Such as our exhaust being quit a bit lighter and our battery kit.

This weekend the car will hopefully be way up in power. We are finally ready to release our next upgrade for the car!!

Tuning and track times with a new product release coming SOON!!!

That's great info. There are a handful of cars pulling 350lbs of weight out of the car and it skews the gains appearing in the 1320'. Glad to hear yours is not one of them.
