Buschur Racing's Evo X has arrived!
Some pro opinion from the AYC too in different situation ...
"Incredibly, AYC holds the car back in the slalom. It seems the system assumes the driver is initiating a corner and supplies oversteer, but it never realizes the driver wants to steer back the other way. This makes the Evo X quite a handful when it's threaded through the cones.
We would have thought the yaw control system along with the new Evo's larger tires and wider track would have given it an advantage in the slalom. But the Evo X's additional 1.2 inches of height, increased heft and the inability of the AYC system to react to quick secondary changes in direction evened things out. In the end, the Evo X only matches the speed of the Evo IX through the cones. "

too much electronic can be some situation bad. In the aviation where is alots of electronic help, there is a phenomenon called: Pilot-induced oscillation (PIO)
you want to do some thing the computer try to help and the too fast inputs can confuse the computer... the end you and the computer does exactly the opposite. / some situation same with the AYC- ACD/
or quote since my english is really not great.
"occurs when the pilot of an aircraft inadvertently commands an often increasing series of corrections in opposite directions, each an attempt to cover the aircraft's reaction to the previous input with an overcorrection in the opposite direction."

to come off topic a bit, yesterday i had a real look into the engine bay of a evo x. lookin at the turbo on the back of the motor, it doesnt look like it has alot of space for a bigger turbo back there for like a gt35r. do u guys at BR think so?
also, the same x i saw yesterday had a 3inch turboback exhaust single outlet. thing sounded mean as Sh*t looked damn good too. Sidekick3 camera phone sucksA** so i wont even waste your time puttin it up.
Ayc's effects are irrelavent anyways because motec will make a new plug and play ayc controller, and its not like ayc is anything new it was in previous gen evos. It just needs to be tweaked a little differently.
^^Yea sorry about that. I've heard that there's a lot of room to work with back there. I've read jun used a fcon pro and an emanage to make 460whp. Seems like the stock ecus pretty powerful if they had to use a standalone and a piggyback.

I personally have to disagree some.
I like the Evo 8 and 9 better personally. The X is a great car but it feels more "up scale" to me. I like the "race ready" feel of the 8 and 9. I think of the X as a "classier" car like a BMW or something. Its a VERY nice car but it has alot of creature comforts. Im a pretty basic kind of dude and dont need all that jazz. A/C, power windows & locks, keyless entry and im all set. lol
For the most part I like the styling of the X. I just dont care for the rear look. I know its done for performance but its just ugly IMO. I like the front and its aggressive look. I still give the car an overall 9.5 or 10 but its in a different class I personally think than the 8 and 9.

I agree it is in a different class. Not too raw like an VIII or IX, but not too refined like a premium priced S4 or M3. A good balance. I guess that's why I like it. I think I know where you're coming from though. I owned an VIII and loved it but everything from the VII to the IX was pretty much the same car. Mitsu went a different direction with the X and call it me getting old, but I like the direction they took. A little extra comfort my old *** I guess.
Regardless, once I pony up the cash for one its still gonna get some bolt-ons and reclaim some of its heritage rawness...namely that beautiful BR exhaust.
really? they confirmed the use of the 4B11T? wow, if their engine is the same as the Evo X, then the aftermarket support for this car is going to be tremendous. i heard that the 2.0T version is gonna boast around 200-240bhp
I don't see why it won't go in the genesis. The 4b11 is a world engine it was a partnership with hyundai, mitsu and dodge. It only makes sense to put it in a light coupe its a solstice gxp killer.
if thats the case, than the new Genesis Coupe 2.0T (i just read again somewhere its gonna be 200bhp) is gonna be an even more de-tuned EVO X, even more so than the Lancer Ralliart. that should be crazy, people will soon have the option of either a damn fast 300bhp AWD turbo, a 235bhp AWD turbo, or a 200bhp RWD turbo. The only thing i'm questioning is the reliability of those Hyundai's
