Are you guys going to replace the stock rubber intake pipe that is located after the MAF sensor??
I also notice that alot of intercoolers kits out there have "hump hose" to allow some engine movement and to prevent the intercooler piping from poping off. I dont see one in your pics, would you consider using one?

I'm curious as to what you guys include in the BR350, when will this be done?

The first FMIC we tested was a 18x12x3.5" core. It made good power but in reality is just not large enough to support the power that the car will eventually make. Rather than offer a multitude of FMIC's like we did on the EVO 8-9's I want to make the best products the first time and that's it, one kick *** product for each part the car needs.

The new core will support 1,000 hp, while the core above would only support around 750 hp.

We use hump hoses in some of our kits. This one I do not feel it is needed. They add considerable expense to the kits, those hump hoses cost us about $35 each to have made.

The BR350 kit we have no finalized yet. It's easy to make 50 whp extra in the cars so it won't be hard to do. We started building the fixture for the catback exhaust today, as soon as it's built we will send it off to be bent. That will only take a few weeks. When that comes back hopefully we will have tuning software and then we will be able to offer the BR350.

Yes, eventually we will do a MAF pipe, sorry I missed that question.

TTP, what do you mean? Seriously, the cores that support 750 whp are the typical 3.5" cores you see everyone using/selling (including us, I am not pointing fingers). The problem is the intake air temps get hot as hell when you start pushing the boost hard and making a lot of horsepower.

This time around rather than offering two intercoolers I want to just offer one and get the job done best right off the bat.

We are working hard on the car and are just waiting on the end tanks to be cut for this new core. I am hoping for tomorrow......

How did we get to Evo X's 750whp expectations being to low.

Getting right into it I see. With some mystery about what these blocks can take, you're sure not taking it slow to some big goals ahead. Good Luck.

Yes, I did finally get my KW box, notice I said FINALLY When you coming back to do some alignment, installation and corner weighting buddy?

TTP, the way I see it, the better the intercooler the easier it is to make big power reliably. Not sure if the EVO X will ever see 1000 whp like the old 4g63 does but hell, just incase I want to be ready! haha

My only beef with one intercooler is that someone who never wants more than 400-500hp could benefit from the improved response a smaller core would offer compared to a 1000-hp monster.

Just a thought.

That is not correct jbrown. Go take a look at the charts that Mellon just posted switching from our deluxe FMIC to the race FMIC. Power was gained everywhere with no adverse effect on the spool up. When it comes to making power, get the AIT's as low as you can.

The only problem I see with this Dave is that those of use that want to retain the warranty for as long as possible, would rather have the 750hp version that required absolutely no cutting/moding to fit onto the car.

I think before he said that the IC would not have any trimming required.

For the 750hp version. For the 1000hp version, I thought he said it required some triming and slight grinding.

There is no way the dealer is going to find or have a problem. I will take a picture of the modification that needs to be done when we put the FMIC on the car for good. I am hoping that is going to be today.
