that's like saying LSDs do nothing for good drivers. torque vectoring is a big deal.

No, we are not buying an MR too. The parts will interchange. There's a chance we'll get a Lancer Ralliart when they come out (turbo AWD) and the new Hyundai Genesis coupe is a for sure.

So I guess you believe good drivers would be quicker in a car that understeers than one that is more neutral?

Umm, everything i read said a V8 pushing 368 w/ RWD, not a 4B11T. Maybe i need to re check.

There are 3 variations.. and the V8 is a rumor. The base model will be 2.0L turbocharged.

Yep, just read more. heres a quote...

"Hyundai officials revealed that the base car will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with up-level models being propelled by a 3.8L V6"

Sounds fun

I think what he's saying ... or at least what I'm saying ... is that if you took away the electronics and just had a neutral chassis, a good driver would be faster, since, at least so far, there has always been a point where the electronics of a street car on tarmac cannot keep up with driver input.
