You would have to be making a rediculous amount of power for a twin exit system to have any benefits in performance over a single exit. You'd have to be at a point that the single pipe in the rear was a restriction. So, personally I don't think there will be any performance gains over a properly designed twin system compared to a properly designed single system. I like the twin look on the back of the car too and definetely do NOT want to see the muffler on this car. From the rear the tubing/muffler is not visible. I think it's some of my finest work. We are all adding input to the build this time as we want this 100% perfect the first time around.

Oh, no I think you misunderstood my question, I probably didn't word it very well. I was under the impression that twin exit systems on a single turbo car typically would flow less than the single exit, straight through design, because the twin exit would have more backpressure due to the bends that the piping would have to make, or maybe the muffler would create more backpressure because it would have to channel air sideways inside the muffler to get the air out to the two different exits. This is hard to explain without pictures to show what I'm talking about, but I hope this makes sense. Either way, I'm liking the way that your system sounds. I love the fact that you wont be able to see pipes and mufflers from the back. Sounds very clean. I can't wait to see how this looks.

But at double exit volume on the other side of the muffler it probably doesnt matter.

Now that I think about it, I wonder how this exhaust will sound.... Will it be like the billet or Magnaflow, but then again, different motor so I think it wont sound like any of the two... Should be interesting!

I know for a fact it has to have a better more throatier tone since the cylinder head flows better and the car runs alot richer than the evo VIII or IX.

I am also wanting to throw a small video together as well so you guys can get an idea of what the system sounds like. I think it sounds pretty freaking good.

The "scientists" are out there in the shop right now working on some other goodies.

Doesnt suspense stink? lol

We'll keep you updated as the days go on and I will also post the pics as soon as I have them ready to go. Thanks for all the interest guys!
