its obvious that posts like this are why everyone turns it into a compro test, dont talk **** about the ct9a and expect the owners not to retaliate.

Read the OP quote and tell me that there was NOT a comparison made! I'll give you a hint - READ THE BOLD SENTENCE!!

99% of the time I don't start these comparisons.. they are made and then I respond - I have my own thread for comparisons..

Well I brought this up in another thread, but wouldn't the smaller exhaust port cause the air to come out at a higher velocity? If so it could technically flow just as much in the same amount of time, the exhaust is just coming out at a faster rate of speed?

Are you really this insecure about your IX that you have to spend the majority of your time on the X forums looking for an argument?

No. I just like following the drama of this new car. I'd be just as active in the Ralliart or Nissan forums when those cars hit the dealers.

Btw, I don't have a IX - I have an VIII.

You've taken a chance to slight the car at every step. We get it. You don't like one nor want one. Why continue to spew your biased conjecture all over the X forums?

Is it bias to follow the threads and deter people who try to make the X look better than the 8/9 to justify their purchase? In this very thread, the OP meant to "slight" the 8/9 by stating a tuning shops opinion and failing to mention a counter-opinion from another tuning shop which would've been more appropriate (and less fanboyish). I'm not trying to slight the X at every step - I'm just trying to show that the rose colored glasses aren't so rosey..

The fact of the matter is that you $h17 on every x thread there is. And to be frank its getting rather annoying, no one wants to hear your opinion about the x anymore we know what it is.

Cosworth said the head is great, there also going to make a better one.

Theres more to a head than bigger is better. Once they flow bench the head we will really know but the ratio is more in line with modern cylinder heads. Vishnu has already said the X is less knock prone than IX's they've tuned. Also, even if the exhaust does slightly flow less than the 4G63 it has MIVEC on both the INTAKE and EXHAUST. Guess what?! That makes it a more effcient engine, you guessed it!
