AMS Twin Tip Decision... we made our choice
I know that most of you have been waiting patiently on our twin tip exhaust to come out. With the wait we have gone through on material its been a long process.
We have recently discovered a way to make the system even better. With incorporating a V-band system into our exhaust we cannot only eliminate gaskets but also make for an easy install. The most exciting part of the new design is that you can drop the entire muffler section off the car and install a block off plate to create a track or full race exhaust. This will allow for less restriction and a decent amount of weight savings as well for the track.
This new design did not push back production that much at all. we are still making ground albeit not as fast as we would like. A system this complex has to be engineered and manufactured very carefully...that takes time.

Good to hear you guys are still planning to develop this! With the switching to v-bands, will this still allow the original plan of the customization of sounds using the plates with the holes in them?
I love the look of this exhaust. I refuse to buy a single tip because of the dual tipped opening in the rear. I would like to see burnt tips but if not enough interest I'll buy either way. I've heard lots of good things bout ams and plan on buying almost all of my parts from you guys!!!
