AMS Twin Tip Decision... we made our choice

Well after hearing your feedback from here and a few other sites we made our choice on what version to go with. Many of you liked number 3 and 2...some were really into number 1. you can find that poll here: Exhaust Poll

So we decided to give you ALL OF THEM.

Thats right, The 3 versions of our exhaust you heard all came from the same system.

We are proud to announce the prototype version of our First Twin tip TUNABLE exhaust. Now you can adjust how you want your exhaust to sound simply by removing three bolts.

The System is pretty unique in design the passenger tip actually has a three bolt flange in place that allows for one of 5 different plates to adjust sound.

The best part is that NOT A SINGLE ONE WILL AFFECT PEAK HP! We tested each on on the dyno and they all made the same power as our single tip lightweight system!

Each system will include all the plates for individual tuning. we are still finalizing our tip design so your feed back would still be greatly appreciated

I want to recognize Ivan here at the shop for coming up with this pretty unique idea. The results are fantastic

Please keep in mind these are prototype shots and to not directly reflect the final product. Many of the weld seams are Mig welded for prototyping and will be tig welded or pre-bent in the final production piece

Enough with the talkin..... on with the pictures

Above you can see the Three bolt flange that the adjustable plate resides in

Here you can see all five plates to adjust for sound. To reference what you guys saw in the video clips.

Version one was Wide open
Version Three was totally closed off
Version two was right in the middle

So there you have, please tell us what you think. This is still a prototype and not set for production yet but I think we just might have to

Eric

So only one side is muffled and you use a plate to controll the sound of the pass side tip? So if you used the #3 plate you would only have exhaust gas coming out of the driv side tip. So with the #3 plate you esencially have a single exhaust with a twin tip look? Great work guys def put it into production maybe with some thin wall slash cut burnt tips, not rolled tips imo.

that's pretty slick, you can change the sound of your exhaust in about 5 minutes. run one plate during the week as a dd. run wide open on the weekend
