AMS any thoughts to my Idea? 34Turbo likes it... lol

Send me a sample and I'll sport it around for all the San Francisco Bay area to see, with window stickers and all.

I'll even pay the shipping.

I did not really mean to say that the electronic cutout in the 3000gt tunable exhaust is a good idea performance-wise, however a cutout can be perfect on some applications. But meant more the design of the pipes. The cutout simply vents some gas around the muffler bypassing it's restriction. Say what you want about the right tip on the current AMS design. Yes the right tip is efficient, but the left is more or less there for looks. The most efficient design for a dual tip with 1 inlet and a tunable factor would be a straight pipe back to a collector centered in the car to the tips. Put the bypass pipe parrallel to the main pipe and install the muffler there. Then install a tunable plate "plate with hole in it" in front of the T for the muffler/straight split.

Heck, the most efficient design of the tunable type has already been made by QTP, in the form of their downpipe w/ cutout. That is not to say the cutout needs to be electric, as they have their downs. But if you want a nice sound and means to sacrafice sound for performance that is the way to make it.

wouldnt it be more beneficial to just go witha single canister instead of spliting it up, less weight also with a straiter flow.

They already made one, I think the point of this one is to fill up both holes in the bumper...

I agree on a SS exhuast like the AMS one, it would be rice, but not a real Ti exhaust.

I like this idea also, not as big as 4'' but 3.5 or even 3.75'' , just enought to fill the holes on the bumper. A good example is the one on the HKS Kansai but I preffer it not to be burned.

like i stated in the other threads guys we are having the bulk of the system bent up and this takes time. the second We are within a reasonable ship date I will announce them for sale and begin taking orders. sorry for the wait but we want to make sure that the system is everything we designed it to be.
