Notchy Gear Box when car not moving?
I've played with it at stop lights..
Mine is still notchy but if I go back and forth like 5times, the 6th time is smoother. (1st->2nd)
I've never "grinded" the gears in my car. So my notchyness isnt as bad as others.
Why does it not feel notchy when shifted while driving briskly? Does the linkage change as you drive faster? Maybe the linkage is defective, like, it was not cast in the correct design for smooth shifting?
Do the JDM Evo's have shifting issues?

When driving briskly the synchro's are engaging which may be the reason you don't feel it then.
