Anyone tried crushing the factory bypass valve yet?

Anyone tried crushing the factory bypass valve yet? At high boost, on the older cars, it helped hold boost. Not sure if it is even an issue yet with the EvoX.

It would be interesting to see if there is any gain to be had, and how bad/good the factory bypass valve actually is.

I doubt it on stock boost.

You do not need to. It is the same valve as the IX. They are good to about 32 psi on race gas. Myself and several others in tampa felt the need to try it on the stock turbo.

You don't need to. The restriction is the turbo, not the DV. I've used this same DV on my VIII to 30psi with no issues.
