What are your current power mods now?

When I installed a test pipe, downpipe, cat back exhaust, lower ic piping, upper ic piping, bigger intercooler, intake pipings and filter.

The fuel cut went away and I was boosting 26psi without fuel cut.

Spray settings to start at 4psi of boost and max out the spray at 25psi of boost.

Like before it will do a quick spike to 32psi or 2.2 Bar then settle down to 20psi by redline.

Still No Fuel Cut, and No CEL, that is how far I will push it until I get a ECUTEK tune.

The torque is insane! If feels like it will snap your neck off.
Good to see this, congrats! I am looking at an aquamist system, but they seem a little pricey in comparison the the others I've seen.

Be careful! Can the stock turbocharger safely support those boost figures? I've seen T28's do quick spikes to 18psi on sr20GTi-R heads, only to find out the excessively quick reduction in boost after the boost spike is a result of the fans in the compressor housing touching the inside of the housing.

What's the diameter of the MAF tube you installed? Larger than stock? I wonder if "boost cut" is not accurate but something like "flow cut" would be.

"boost cut" is measured by load. If it is over a certain load for a certain amount of time, it will fuel cut.

Adding flow mods that could change the actual MAF readings (like a intake pipe or new MAF tube) can distort the load readings and make the ECU think it's running a lower or higher load. This is most likely what happened to get rid of your "boost cut"

Injection has nothing to do with it.

If you are indeed running lower load then you are also running more timing and leaner fueling. Much the same away the old school SAFC tuned cars.

Playing with fire if you aren't logging.

i have a test pipe, filter, FMIC, and boost controller. Still on stock intake pipe though. Maybe the maf reads less air because the pipe is bigger? that would in turn also lean it out a bit.

meth kits are a good way to test the 4b11 durability, waiting for the first " my engine is blown thread" i hope its not yours, its just inevitable...

Archiebabes, I don't understand why you are willing to spend all this money on parts and yet haven't spent the money to get the car tuned. Making power doesn't mean jack if it's not tuned and safe, and EcuTek software has been out for over a month now; that's inexcusable and just plain stupid. You could probably put a 100 shot of NOS on your car right now and not "feel" any knock or misfires, but who knows what the car is really doing if you're not logging it? Do you even care about your car? No offense, but people like you are the reason that I will never buy a used EVO.

Yes, it is installed behind the back seat where the stock windshield fluid resovoir used to be installed at.

It is very hard to get the water into the tank without a funnel or pump. Since I'm using 100% water for now, I just put the hose inside the tank and let it fill up.

You know you should be using distilled water right? Not water from the tap.
