AEM Water Injection For The X 29 PSI On 91 Pump Gas
AEM has a 5 gallon tank also. You can buy the kit with the big tank or buy the tank separate. It has nice flanges molded into it for bolting it down and is pretty well laid out to not eat too much space. Here it is in the trunk of a IX:

You said you can buy the tank separate but where. I have called every where and no one will sale the tank by its self. thanks.
Try calling an EVO specialist that works closely with AEM :-)

i think ill just stick with the 1 gallon tank and just fill that bad boy up.
Why not just make a tank install and post a how to? It's not rocket science.

If you're worried about drilling a hole in the bottom of the tank and having the fitting leak, then drill the hole in the top of the tank. That Shurflo diaphram pump included with the AEM (and most of the other kits as well, and even some of the oil return kits for low mount turbos) kit is a standard pump that is used in landscape sprayers. I have the same (or similar) pump on a 25 gallon weed sprayer mounted on my tractor. It will pull the liquid from the bottom of the tank, through a hole in the top of the tank with no problems. Just make sure the hose goes all the way to the bottom of the tank. What you can do is find a gland nut (Google search) that the hose fits through, drill a hole in the top of the tank for the gland nut and mount the gland nut, then stick the hose through the gland nut and tighten the gland around the hose. It won't be 100% watertight, but it will resist sloshing, and frankly it's only going to leak significantly when the car is upside down, and then you have lots of other things to worry about rather than if your water tank is leaking.
